Team Play This program is designed for players who desire to compete in a league setting. Our focus will be player development and incorporating their skills into a game situation.
Practices: First practice on Saturday, February 25, 2017. All other practices will be once a week on either Monday or Friday. The majority of our practices will be held on Friday's. Practice times will be determined at the beginning of the season. Practices will be held at Bay Leaf Baptist Church.
Games: Games will begin on March 4, 2017. Games will not be held Easter weekend on Saturday, April 15, 2017. The last weekend of games will be April 29 with 5/6 as a rain make up if needed.
Game Times: A schedule will be determined prior to the start of the season. All games will be played at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, Raleigh
Ages: 6 - 11 year old boys & girls (Kindergarten thru 5th grade with birth dates after 8/1/05) All players who played in the Fall league are eligible to play in the Spring league.
Fees: $95* includes: practices, games, and a game shirt ($20 additional charge if registration postmarked after February 11, 2017) (Online registration link at the bottom of the page.)
Instructional Training One hour consists of: 30 minutes of skill work through fun games 5 minutes of devotional time 25 minutes of scrimmage
Sessions: March 11, 18 (rainout), 25 and April 1, 8, 22, and 29 (make up day)
Times: 9am or 10 am (Time Preference will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, secured in order received based on registration date)
Ages: 4-6 year old boys & girls (Kindergarten and younger with birth dates after 8/1/10)
Fees: $65* includes instruction fee and t-shirt ($20 additional charge if registered after February 25, 2017)
Registration **You will register thru Teamsnap and create a profile for your child. You will also be asked to download and print the waiver form. This form will need to be uploaded as a pdf or jpeg and attached to your child's profile.
Online registration offers payment thru paypal or you can choose to pay with a check. Check payments need to be mailed within 48 hours of registration. Payments not received by the late fee date will incure the late fee. *Make checks payable to: K4C Soccer
*Any registration postmarked after February 11 for Team Play and February 25 for Instructional Training is subject to an additional $20 charge. Returned checks will be charged a $20 fee.
Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be notified in writing to Kickin' for the Cross at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the spring league in order to qualify for a refund (less $30 administrative expenses.) Failure to meet this deadline results in full forfeiture of all payments received. Refunds will not be given after the season begins as well as for players who miss practices or games for any personal reasons.
